Pieroresistive Pressure Sensors

Piezoresistive pressure sensors are one of the most used types of pressure sensors. The basic structure of a piezoresistive pressure sensor consists of a thin, elastic membrane to which, among other things, four piezo resistors are applied in a Wheatstone bridge circuit. With standardized interfaces such as 4~20mA or 0~10V, pressure sensors are then referred to as 'transmitters' and are an indispensable part of the IoT infrastructure.
